I am sure we all know where we were and what we were doing 9/11/01.
My daughter started pre-school that day and my husband had just retired from the Air Force a few months earlier. I was sure he would be recalled and was not looking forward to that phone call.
I remember the city of Las Vegas being so quite with no aircraft in the air.
It was an eerie strange day.
I was so thankful my husband was not recalled back to the military and luckily for me I did not have any direct connection to anyone who had lost their life that day.
But still a sad and devastating day.
To honor all the victims of Patriot's Day I will be giving away one of these painted flags to anyone who leaves a comment on my blog today telling me what was their feeling of that day or what stands out in their mind the most about this event.
