I have been painting!!

 YEA, I have been painting!
So many ideas and so easily side tracked.
I need to finish at least a couple of projects!

I did get these two done and even listed on Etsy.
Can you believe I am ahead of the next holiday!!
Just need to finish the frame on this one!
I am not sure how to finish this garland, add just wire or beads or material?
This is were I get stuck sometimes---how to finish!
I know most of you on the east coast are really looking forward to SPRING, so this photo is for you!
We are to hit the 50's this weekend...really?
We need the snow, not necessarily the cold.
So I will be wishing for snow for us here in the west and for spring for you all in the east!
Enjoy your day,
Barb

Cold then hot then cold=Spring

I could not get warm on Monday.
My space heater broke.
I probably could have cleaned the house, that can warm one up pretty fast.
I did everything I could think of to avoid cleaning.
Tried to paint but could not do it with the gloves on.
My husband took pity on me and bought a new one so I was able to paint yesterday.
It is suppose to reach 70 on Thursday.
I really don't like the roller coaster ride.
I did put up the St. Patrick's day decorations--I guess better late then never!

We will be celebrating not only Sunday but also with my family on Monday when my brother and his family gets back from California.  I love extended party time!!  Extra corn beef!!
I have the heater on and will hopefully be painting today!
Hope you all have a productive and warm day!
Enjoy,
Barb

Have been thinking green and painting green.  One of my most favorite colors and so many lovely shades
Just a few of the things I have been painting green!
I altered this pattern to include the lettering on this shamrock.  I think I love it.
Now for the giveaway...
I am trying to keep Christmas in my heart this whole year.
So thinking green and waiting for spring, I will be having a giveaway of a Santa ornament painted on a dark green mitten in honor of the month of March!

SPRING Please!!

It snowed here yesterday and I keep thinking SPRING should be just around the corner!!
I have been thinking SPRING for awhile now.
After -degrees this week it should be in the 50's this weekend!
At least I can think Spring with the OFG Team and the Spring Fling Celebration going on now on Etsy.
  Also thinking Corn Beef!!
I am hoping to get this new favorite bunny listed on Etsy before I spend my day at Parent-Teacher Conferences.  It is a Susie King design and it has been fun to go through some of my older books and find these designs that I promised to paint years ago.  I guess it is never to late!!
Hope you all have a fabulous day.
Enjoy,
Barb

Glue ball on top of the hearts or attach the gold rhinestone. Once dry use the Orange sharpie marker to outline the oval. Then with the black sharpie marker write in your wording and outline the hearts, the stem and the inside of the orange line work.
Erase all graphite lines, apply glitter paint to the clover. Let dry completely Spray with Krylon Matte Spray and let dry. Glue either your pin or magnet to the back.
This is the simple shamrock with a magnet glued on and the wood is one inch square.

10 Ways to be a Total Cliche on St. Patrick’s Day

Great article at BY YOUR HANDS blog about the ways to by total cliche on St. Patrick's Day.
It is the proper thing to do.  My kids drink Sprite because it comes in a green bottle.
I got a kick out of it.
