Happy Memorial Day Weekend

If you are like me you have lived through the winter-loving it at times then looking forward to the change of seasons known as spring then into summer!  But this year has been a bit crazy weather wise.  Cold one day and then hot the next.  It looks like we will be having rain again on Memorial Day.  But for people who lived in Vegas nothing will stop a BBQ-heat, cold, rain, snow!!  So let the Summer partying begin!!  Then I will star whining about the heat!!

The Sun is finally Shinning

Yea!! The SUN is finally shinning and it is feeling more like spring after this last week of off and on snow showers.  So in celebration my husband planted 14 cabbage plants...they do well here and usually we have an over abundance.  But my kids will not eat them.  Last year we had so many that we gave them away and still had enough to make sauerkraut and bottle it.  My kids will eat that...go figure.

So my way of celebrating is to remind everyone about the OLD FARM HOUSE GATHERINGS Summer Time Hugs Celebration going on right now.  It is not to late to sign up and the winner will receive the whole kit and caboodle.  Drawing will be held May 28th!!
