Good ole Summer Time

As summer time draws to an end it is always a mixed bag of emotions for me. I LOVE green. I love sitting on our patio watching birds and gazing at the mountains. I enjoy watching my kids on the trampoline, watching them fishing and staying up late cooking S’mores over a little fire.

But the anticipation of fall colors and the crisp cool air gives me more energy. I do enjoy the cool.
So after living in Alaska were there was one cold season then living in Las Vegas where there was one hot season, I love living in a place with a change of 4 seasons!!
So I am sure you will hear me go on again about the change of season come winter.

We were able to squeeze in a mini vacation to Bear Lake, Utah and Idaho. It was beautiful and we had a great time.
Now back to work…I put my Etsy shop on vacation while I do a local craft boutique. Then as soon as that is over work will really begin.

Kids back to school next week and I really have to buckle down and start painting. Wish me luck, it is more fun to play!

Enjoy!

  1. Barb,

The scenery in your pictures is absolutely beautiful. I hear you on having to get back to painting....I've been working through the UFO's that have cluttered my painting table for far too long. My college age son starts back to school next week, the youngest starts 10th grade the week after.
