A Snowman!

Every Christmas I try to paint my Husband (and biggest fan and supporter) a little something for Christmas that I think he would like.   So using a surface I had on hand and tried to paint something else on it, I sanded it off then started again.  The reason I go through so many sanders!
This cute little snowman's face with the cardinal fit perfect on this surface.
This is a Renee Mullin's pattern. She has some fun designs.  I altered this a bit just due to my style.
We do not have cardinals here but I was enthralled to see them in Michigan when we went to visit one winter.season.  SIMPLY beautiful to see the red in the snow!

Just a reminder of the OFG Team promotion going on now on Etsy.
Head to the ABOUT page to find a coupon code for a discount on the shops wares.

Hope this finds you warm with this cold front across the nation.
I cannot complain about a 30 degree high after hearing the news!
Enjoy your day,
Barb

  4. I love how it turned out!
Today is the first day in a long time that I finally put on a long sleeve shirt. It just doesn't get very cold in California. I am missing out on all these freezing cold weather.
