Well, we were finally able to get Christmas tree(s) up.
This is the 360 degrees of our front room.

It has been a busy but fun season so far.
I had a few custom orders to finish, one I had from my sister for over 6 months and naturally put off until it was almost to late!
My brother was in town so we had a great time with him for a few days.
I even think I have most of the shopping done.
Now to make some candy and treats.
I am hoping for a white Christmas here in Utah.
It has been a very warm winter!
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!!

What FUN I have been up too!

Missing in action!
I was contacted by a gal in Australia to paint up a couple of Santa's for her.
I had shown her this one:
I then came up with this and she loved it!
As you notice it is very LARGE!
She also had me paint up this one for her Mom!
This was so much FUN and she was so fun to work with!
I put it in the mail on Wednesday of last week and it is on it's way to Australia!!
I am hoping it gets there safe and both her and her Mom will love them!

I never did show this Santa finished:
Here he is all done!

I love doing custom makes me think outside my box!
It can be a bit stressful but so worth it when all is said and done!

Hope you all have a great day,

The Grumpy Punkin!!

I was the LUCKY winner of this grumpy punkin created by Denise of KKL Primitives!
(You all know photos do not do the real life piece justice!)
My teenage son took one look at it and said, "This looks just like you!"
Well, Yes it does when you have teens in the house!
Denise also sent this cute little punkin lolly!
Her work is exquisite!
You all know how much I love stitched creations because I really do not have any type of love affair with needle and thread.
I am amazed at her attention to detail and all of the tiny stitches!
Denise was so generous in her giveaway!  She also sent a wonderful smelling candle and a beautiful note pad!
If you haven't had the chance to visit Denise at her blog or her Etsy shop you are missing out!!
Denise can be found here:
Thank You so much Denise!!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!

It's beginning to Look Allot Like.........Barn Wood!!

I finally dug out the barn wood from the shed and went to town cutting it up.
Some of the pieces were very old slabs and very thick--still with bark on them.
Should have taken a photo!
I have been painting on all this fun textured wood.
There is something about barn wood that gives any pattern a new character.
I can paint the same pattern on multiple piece of barn wood and they each look different and have their own personality!
Some are finished, some I have to think about, some are just started.
Today will be a fun barn wood finish up day.
Next I will have to head to my folk home to go through my three stacks of barn wood.
Wonder if I will get over there before it snows?
Hope you are having a fun day!
