I happened to be driving my kids around-all summer- and noticed that just down the street from me was a quilt shop. So having a few minutes to wait for the kids I decided to just go in and take a look. Anyone that knows me will know that I am highly "allergic" to needle, thread and material. But the beautiful colors of the material dragged me in. Looking around I saw this cute design done as a wall hanging. I was so intrigued by how cute it was!! I thought--HMMM--well instead of all the bad words that I would say trying to sew it why not paint it instead.
The pattern is by "Bloomin' Minds" and they have some cute stuff!!
So I am now venturing into fabric stores to find patterns-highly unusual.
This was my listing for the OFG Team Turkey Trot Treasury Giveaway and if you have not left a comment head over there now to do so. There are some of the cutest Turkeys I have ever seen in that Treasury. I wish I could win! Good luck to all who leave a comment!!
Enjoy,
Barb

Oh Barb I had to laugh as I read this post...my home economics teacher highly suggested that I take up anything but sewing..can you imagine? LOL. I did buy a machine and I can sew, but it really is best that I stick to the brushes! Thanks for the chuckle, and your Turkey is just adorable......very cute pattern!
ReplyDeleteLove your recipe for lemonade, Barb! Hmmmmm....maybe I should start hanging out at artist and paint pattern stores for ideas to punch and hook! Love your turkey offering for the trot! That frame is awesome too! Have a wonderful weekend! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
