SHOCK AND AWE!!

My daughter has donated her hair before to the "Locks of Love" program so when she started talking about it again I said "Go for it"!
 Before...
 AFTER...
I did not realize she would want to go this short.  The last time she did it her hair was almost to her waist so I was a bit concerned about her hair not being long enough...guess it was!!
When I went to pick her up after I did all the errands I barely recognized her!
She loves it!  Her hair is really thick and heavy so perfect timing with the summer ahead.
I think I will recover but this is such a drastic thing for her to do I am still in SHOCK!

Just a reminder about my latest giveaway--sign ups end June 23 with a winner announced on the 24th!

  4. It's amazing what a haircut can do! My daughter donated her hair for the first time last year. I wasn't sure about her with short hair, but she was so cute! She is growing it out again to donate. She's 8!

  6. Bless her for donating to locks of love. When my granddaughter was diagnosed with breast cancer and knew the chem was going to make her hair come out, she had it cut and donated it. Your daughter is beautiful with short hair. And long. You must be be proud.

  12. What a beautiful young lady!!! And one who is truly blessed in that she looks amazing with either long or short hair!! But I'm really liking the short on her - she has the perfect face for it - and adds a bit of "spunk" to her look. (I meant that as a good thing! ;o) ) Must feel great too - I know I cut all mine off a few years ago...have since grown most of it back...but I sure like the wash n' go part of it...and the humidity was a little easier to tolerate.... What a great cause....Yay for her!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
