Where does the time go?

This summer has seemed to have flown by...all except for the living in my car part.  It dawned on me the other day that it will be Halloween in no time at all.
Needless to say I am yet again behind the curve.  I have really struggled with the lack of any creativity lately.   I was able to paint a couple of things from the cutest quilting book the last couple of days.
I have to thank Ilene of  Happy Valley Primitive for giving me the information about one of her cute pillows.  This in turn lead me to buy Nancy Halovrsen's "Art to Heart" book and get inspired again.
Check out all Ilene's cute creations by clicking on the link above.
This is one of my favorites!!  Thank You Ilene!!
Now I have to get to work and YEA school starts for my kids next week...as the Staples commercial says, "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"
Enjoy,
Barb

  2. Love what you have done. I have found I can get creative just by looking at a coloring book. Being a Mom I don't think you had a creative block, just a kid block. I remember the days when the school bus pulled up and I could get my work done. You just have to love them!

  3. Now that is a nice thing for Ilene to do for you in your time of need of encouragement. That's what I love about our team. When one of us is feeling down or a little blue, we can always depend on the other to come to our rescue ;-) Love ya!

  11. I know how you feel Barb. I worked at a flower shop for the first 6 months of this year and was only able to paint 3...count them 3 days. Now I am so far behind it's not even funny. I have stuff, but I'm behind.
PS...Love Nancy Halverson's books. They make for some great wood projects as well.
