Time to Think Green! Give away

Time to start thinking of the green!  St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner so we need to celebrate the Irish in all of us.  I think we all speak a little bit o'blarney now and then.
The photo above is what you will win!  This is a 9 x 9 inch frame of a shamrock with a banner that wishes you a Happy St. Pat’s Day. This is a folk art designed by Angie Black and is hand painted on fiberglass black screen. The frame is hand made of reclaimed wood and has been painted a Bright Green.  It has been sprayed with a matte finish. It comes with a metal hanger on back.

To enter this give away I would love to have you follow my blog and just leave me a note about what you do to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

My parents, brothers, sisters, and their families get together at my brother Steven's house and we have the traditional corn beef and cabbage with green mashed potatoes.  Drinks and dessert are green too.  Then we sit around and spread the blarney!
This drawing will be the usual pull a name out of the hat by my kids and it will end March 1 with the name of the person that won on March 2.  Good luck to all!

  1. The minute that I take down Valentine's Day decorations I put up St. Pat's decorations. I start listening to Irish music the minute I see March 1st. On the 17th I make sure my 3 little Irish grandchildren go to school with the Irish Flag somewhere on their clothing. Then it is Corned Beef for us.

  9. I have some Irish running through my veins...but I don't do anything special on that day. 32 years ago though, I had twins 2 days before St Pat's day, and when the nurses brought the babies to the room that morning for their feeding, they had them wrapped in green blankets with green shamrock hats on. They looked so cute. Love your giveaway and thanks for the chance to win it!!

  11. Hello-
    What a wonderful give away!
I usually work on St. Patrick's Day! I work at a nursing home... so it as rewarding for me to spend time celebrating with the residents I take care of. We go all out for them to make every Holiday special to them. Whether it's baking or crafts, happy hour, storytime, playing games, or watching an old movie..just bringing a smile too their faces is what I enjoy!!!

  12. Hubby likes corn beef and cabbage, but the rest of us don't. :-p

We all wear something green on St Patty's Day. I usually color milk and other food green for the kids.

And thank you for the giveaway! I need to get out our decorations before March 17 gets here! I don't have much, but a little green around here goes a long way! I can't wait for spring to get here...

  13. Barb, I'd love to have this piece in my home!! What lovely painting!
Not much celebrating for us other than the 'wearing of the green'. Speaking Blarney is my native tongue!
